This week’s best dressed showed us that it is possible to look chic and not freeze, a skill we’re trying desperately to succeed at lately. Rachel Bilson paired a perfectly simple cream cable knit sweater with suede booties at the airport. Florence Welch successfully paired a tough leather jacket with a girly scarf. Kirsten Dunst and Jessica Alba both did preppy with a twist, with button downs and pea coats. Finally, Madge looked fabulous in this fur and leather coat with leather gloves. Here’s to warmth!

Writing about fashion full time means getting a little obsessed–okay, really, really obsessed–with certain topics. (Cough, Taylor Momsen, cough.)

But when it comes to actual clothes and accessories, our enthusiasm knows no bounds.

From those elusive Pierre Hardy boots (we finally had to cave and buy a pair) to Stella McCartney Kids clothes (adults can fit a large, thank you!), there was lots to blog about. Care to take a look?

Weirdest Finding of 2010? Balmain Hair Extensions

They’ve been around for years, but they’re new to me. And maybe you?

Did you know…that Balmain boasts a very, very successful line of hair extensions? I stumbled upon the range while reading the blog Hair On The Brain. Some research reveals that Racked featured it in March when a salon on the Upper East Side became New York’s one-and-only supplier of Balmain hair.

But this isn’t another Jessica Simpson fake hair fiasco.
